Khloe Kardashian had a big party planned for her daughter True Thompson’s second birthday. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, Kardashian and her baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, had to make some changes.
Instead of a huge party with a Sesame Street and Trolls theme, Kardashian downsized her plans and threw True an intimate Trolls-themed party, with a focus on the character Poppy as the decor. She told a fan on Twitter that she chose Sesame Street and Trolls because True had been obsessed with them ever since Stormi Webster’s birthday in February.

True’s party took place at Kardashian’s home where she has been self-isolating with her daughter, and she decided to do “a little Hybrid party” since they couldn’t invite guests.
“Miss True is about to wake up and these are all her birthday gifts. She is going to freak out,” wrote Kardashian on Instagram Stories. “I mean, look at this ice cream parlor from auntie Kiki (Kim Kardashian-West).”
Kardashian added that True is “so loved and spoiled,” and they couldn’t ask for anything else. She wrote that even though the party was just True, mommy, and daddy, the two-year-old still feels love and adored.
“This is just crazy, she’s so spoiled but she’s sweet,” wrote Kardashian.
This was a big difference from True’s first birthday party, which was an outdoor event that featured balloons, butterfly decor, and cotton candy vendors, plus all of her family was in attendance. This year, True’s aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents had to visit with her via video calls. Sources say that the Kardashian-Jenner clan is taking social distancing very seriously, but no one is complaining. Instead, the family is trying to enjoy the slower pace and extra family time.

An insider said that despite the social distancing and shelter-in-place orders, Kardashian still wanted to make True’s birthday special. The source also revealed that the Good American jeans founder had her home “beautifully decorated” for Easter, which made the birthday/holiday weekend “extra festive.”
